On Sunday 7/21/24, Hope House hosted a community memorial walk. Some chose to decorate fans with names or pictures of their lost loved ones. Children, grandparents, and parents were among those honored. We all met at the Kiwanis Park Pavilion at Lake Taylorville.

We had a nice (if sweaty for some of us) walk to the peninsula by the marina and back to the Kiwanis pavilion. Several children were involved and ran and played on the playground, decorated fans, and walked or rode bicycles along with the adults. Parents, aunties & uncles, grandparents, siblings, and children (who’ve lost parents or siblings) were all in attendance. Thank you to those who joined us for this fun and memorable event.
