Building Hope
A dream in progress – becoming a reality right before our eyes.

It is not just a dream.
The first day we poured concrete for the footings, I stood at the edge of the trenches and large hole on which Hope House would be built and I wept. It was a very emotional moment for me. I am so thankful I was able to jump right in and rake some wet concrete into footings that would eventually support this house. Even if I had tears running down my cheeks. Tears are the literal foundation of Hope House. In a perfect world, no one would ever have to burry a child.
Hope House has made slow but steady progress the last few years. It has not been easy! We have overcome several obstacles but hope finds a way to keep us all going, even in difficult times. We survived a pandemic that basically shut down the world. There was also a local tornado that devastated our area. Still, Hope House has made some huge steps forward in seeing the dream of serving parents and families of loss a living hope and reality. We are very thankful for our faithful supporters whose resilience has been invaluable in allowing the dream to remain a growing reality.
